Sergey Dumphrey is a drummer, educator, and sonic architect located in Cleveland, Ohio. Renowned for his dynamic energy, precision, and imaginative storytelling, he merges technical skill with genuine emotion both live and in the studio. A student of Mike Mangini (Dream Theater) and a Berklee-educated musician, he contributes extensive knowledge of rhythm and sound design to all of his projects.

He plays drums for Khandria, a progressive metal band that delves into themes of trauma, infection, and identity through immersive concept-driven music. Additionally, he performs with Stonebridge (grungy alt-rock) and Two Mile Moon (indie rock), demonstrating a broad stylistic spectrum.

Beyond performing, he teaches drumming, emphasizing self-expression, discipline, and storytelling through rhythm. Whether behind the kit or leading a class, he is dedicated to pushing boundaries—and inspiring others to do the same.
