Drawing from the myth of Hephaestus, The Mechanist reimagines the god of the forge as a shattered visionary; a creator cast aside by the very pantheon he once served. Exiled from Olympus, Hephaestus turns his genius toward vengeance, forging a machine born of hatred, grief, and divine resentment. What was once creation becomes destruction, as the god’s craftsmanship twists into something mechanical, merciless, and alive.
